(More customer reviews)I got this machine cheaper on another site so at 400 it did what I wanted. which was the digitizing. the software it comes with is rather a simple one. but for the price great. It's an only embroidery which was all I needed since I have a sewing machine and a serger. So if you already have good sewing machine and want to just try out some embroidery without spending almost a grand on a machine and software go for this. I had tried a singer futura, the software was similar but I had more difficulties and the needle broke on every design I tried. All this machine needed was a little tension adjustment. I did have one needle break but I was trying to do a complicated thors hammer design. Don't expect glorious complicated designs to digitize well but clip art works well.
The white company is actually owned by viking so when you email for support you'll see a viking address in the email. While technically viking it seems to be made by brother, so almost everything (hoops and embroidery cards) for brother will work for this machine. Only I believe the disney cards only work in the disney machines. It uses the same PES format as brother machines. you could even use the blank card system for brother with this. It also has a usb and connects to your pc or laptop.
So if you have a sewing machine and want all the embroidery options you can get with a futura but half the price. go for this machine.
