(More customer reviews)I can't agree with the previous reviewer who lamented that these puzzles weren't as bright and painting-like as the online images would suggest. First of all, this particular puzzle is a photograph (not a painting) of an intricate embroidery piece. More importantly, many online images of physical objects appear "brighter" because 1) they're on a lit computer screen and 2) the online image is typically smaller than the physical object. A smaller image tends to sharpen and brighten the illustration. That being said, this puzzle is an accurate reproduction of the online image and there is an excellent correlation between the box art and the puzzle within, which helps with the assembly. As with all Laurel Ink puzzles, the pieces are cut on a radial axis rather than a strictly X and Y axis, which makes for some very unusual piece shapes and some challenging assembly conundrums. The puzzles feature oversize boxes and large images of the illustration, which is very helpful. Highly recommended.
